Who’s who on The Sing-Off?

Oct 4, 2011

Now that the first two episodes of The Sing-Off are behind us, we have met all the contestants and some of you are probably starting to have favorites as well. During the six days and 22 excruciating hours a week that The Sing-Off isn’t on, you might want to connect with, read about or hear from your favorite groups. If this is the case, I’ve collected some information on where to find the Sing-Off groups online.

While gathering this data, I found out that all groups have a dedicated Sing-Off facebook fanpage, separate from their original facebook page they may have had for ages. This might’ve been another idea that is completely logical to the marketing director of a major network, but is in no way beneficial to the groups or the fans. (Likes aren’t transferable from the original page to the Sing-Off page, groups now have to update two pages and fans have to follow two pages? I don’t get it.) I want to encourage you to support the general fanpages, since they stand for all the group’s past effort and gathered supporters, rather than just the group as a participant in this contest.

Here they are, in order of appearance:

And let’s not forget the judges:

Ben Folds

writes about all performances every week in his NBC Blog.

Shawn Stockman

blogs in a more general fashion. (Latest article here. Click through to other articles in the sidebar.)

Sara Bareilles

doesn’t do a blog, but you can catch her acting weird in her twitter feed.

Furthermore, I discovered that all groups keep a weekly blog on the NBC website, so check that out if you’re interested.

Please let me know if you find any errors, or any links that I didn’t include yet!
